Lavezzi seemed like a logical enough purchase at the time, very good player but I think it's become clear since he left Napoli that he's a far more effective player when playing in a counter-attacking side.

Considering they paid around £35 million, Pastore has to go down as one of the all-time great flops. He's been pretty dreadful throughout his time there and judging from the crowd reactions when I watch them, the PSG fans hate him.

Anyone watching Sassuolo-Inter?

Sassuolo have to be one of the worst sides I've ever seen to "grace" the top flight of any of the top European leagues. Inter 3-0 up after 35 minutes (brilliant own goal for the 3rd) and if anything, that flatters Sassuolo.

That was always the biggest banker of the weekend. Sassuolo are too naive and play far too openly from what I've seen (although I've not seen today's game). They lack the ability but most teams shut up shop and play tight when that is the case, but Sassuolo still try to play.

This is a top website for Italian football if anyone's interested, it usually has highlights of every match on there and a very good English speaking podcast every week as well.

Di Francesco, Sassuolo coach wants to play offensive football without having the players to do it.. so this is the results.. bit similar to Sunderland, even if they are much much worse overall.. Small teams that can't defend are doomed to get relegated, no matter which league.

Sassolou look like a mirror image of Sunderland

Not that bad.. but the concept is similar.. if u are a small team and u are shit defensively it's really complicated.. that's why most of coaches of small teams just think about defense, defense defense, cos it's the most important thing .

7-0, these are absolutely dire.[DOUBLEPOST=1379852012][/DOUBLEPOST]Would love to see Milito get one more for the hat-trick.

I've been a big fan of Eusebio Di Francesco ever since he captained my Roma side to Champions League glory on Championship Manager 3. I'd like to see him be a success as a manager.

Well, it's the second chance in serie A, after Lecce, and he is showing he can't manage at this level at the moment.. He was better in serie B, coaching a team that can play offensive football, fight to win.. he is struggling with a poor team trying to implement his philosophy, bit of Di Canio type of difficulties.. even Antonio Conte was struggling and got sacked in Atalanta, cos he couldn't obtain results in serie A with a weak side( while he was doing great with good serie B sides). It's really tough for coaches that want to play "attractive" football to coach poor sides, cos it tends to finish with a terrible defensive side that concedes many goals :D He'd probably do better with a decent side, problem is get in there!
