He did comment that he found it hard as a Mag fan to get his head round why as a Sunderland fan I wasn't as obsessed with Newcastle as your lot are with Sunderland. He did accept we had been the more successful club in the North East over the history of both clubs which is fair do's!
You only have to look at this board to see how some of you are obsessed about Newcastle

They were entertaining, if only because they blew a 12 point lead. They played attacking football in an era when you still had players who played in the old first and second divisions playing in the prem against their foreign imports, they were bound to be good, and they were. But I barely remember watching ANY of their matches cause there's been much more entertaining teams play since them.

Besides everyone know mags live in the past and haven't got a clue. But we are often just as bad for that, however we brand ours as being nostalgia. Personally I'd like to see both us and them going for European places, and cups and eventually the league, just so we can prove it's not all about Manchester, Liverpool, or London.

Couldn't be more wrong. The football we're playing is driving fans away. It's appalling.
You're talking bollocks, again.

You're wrong. The reason why they were dubbed the entertainers was because Keegan set them out to win every game. It worked a lot of the time, but the opposition always knew they had a chance of scoring or winning. When we were good we got nowt at a very ordinary Man City yet I can see no change in results against them in years to come. These days they steamroller most teams week in week out, not because they've assembled and get the very best out of their players, but because they've spared no expense in collecting loads of immensely gifted players who can win games on their own. They are flat track bullies most of the time and it's dull to watch.

He's winding you up and it seems he's succeeded
Out for a meal with the In-Laws and the Mag supporting Father in Law has been watching The Premier Years 95/96..........can't believe the crap he's sprouting;

"Did you have sky back then, I know your a Sunderland fan but you must have enjoyed watching us"

"We were the Entertainers"

"The whole country wanted us to win the title except Man Utd fans"

"3000 fans used to turn up for training every day"

"I don't think Sunderland were in the premier league were they"

It's Mag cliche Central!

Yeah, I heard some of us even sign up to rival message boards to tell them how obsessed their fans are.
You utter f***ing clod. It's this lack of self-awareness that makes your club a laughing stock, so thanks for the entertainment.

TBF the mags had an all English outfield when sky started calling them the entertainers. I remember because a mag mate of mine used to wank himself silly over the fact at the time, expecting nearly all of them to get England call ups.

"Out for a meal" very 70's what was it scampi in a basket or prawn cocktail followed by steak and chips

1.38 in the fuckin morning man

You sad f***ing wanker. Looking forward to the lads stuffing you at the landfill again? Love watching the ground empty, its surprising that it doesnt automatically fill up, with the 30,000 of your Geordie fans waiting outside to get in

Fuck off

That's because the fat fuckers would clog the doors up going both ways...

Did they ever get to the bottom of that alleged Kevin Keegan ball boy stuff? ... Maybe you could ask him about that.

when they lost that 12 point lead they surely entertained us... other than that... they won fuck all and are totally irrelevant now and always will be because their fans will always demand more than whats achievable and they believe their own hype... newcastle fans have the least knowledge when it comes to football.
