That is cheap! Just shows you don’t need to spend loads of money. The odeon kids deal thing is pretty cheap. Was £3 for a small popcorn, a packet of sweets (normally randoms) and a drink.

I went to see Dunkirk at the Sunderland one and there were four people in. Four. Sad.Don’t think Cinemas are dead but a lot of them will definitely struggle to stay open initially even when things are over.
Not sure why so many don’t seem to like them, I don’t mind paying a fiver the odd time to go see a film on the big screen, sometimes it’s just an excuse to get out the house for a bit usually followed by a few drinks in the pub after, I’d miss it if Sunderland’s has to shut.
Rarely pay more than £10 tbh, usually go on weeknights which makes it cheaper still. But even a weekend I don't think I've paid more than £15.What cinema have you been to that’s cheap?
For me it would be a welcome change as I hate the cinema experience. It’s expensive, annoying listening to people eating all the way through and the chairs are uncomfortable.
However I understand a lot of people love it. My cousin goes on his own all the time to every new release. Watches pretty much everything as he just loves getting out and watching films.
I think they definitely still have a place.
Wey it all depends when you go really. Weeknight after work and it's like a fiver.for what you get it’s probably the most expenive night out pound for pound (if you’ll pardon the un-intended pun)
