The current negativity around the place...

We lose our only striker early doors last season and were just trying to cope and find a new style of playing. This season we’ve got a full squad including 4 strikers and are playing utter shite.

Expectations have changed and I think that's the whole reason for it.

Huddersfield at home is probably the worst performance since L1 as well, which doesn't help. I don't actually think Plymouth was bad performance wise and Millwall was somewhere in between, we were ok once Roberts, Pritch and Dack came on.

That’s nothing like the full picture though. Last season we were playing fast exciting football and always looked like we could catch teams on the break. We scored fantastic goal after fantastic goal. Now we are ponderous, struggle to score and teams cut through us with ease.
I hope to god we improve before we have to play the mags.

Last season we were probably still just starting to think we actually had a team good enough to finish in the top half. There was an element of relief. This season expectation has rocketed. Some were expecting automatic promotion.

Me personally, 6th would be another good season. But something needs to change in the final third.

We didn’t play this badly last season imo. We look lost. That’s why. Not much to be positive about the last few performances
We had a couple of spells like this last season mind. We were a bit more patient though as we'd just been promoted. Now expectations are way higher

It's interesting to note we're 3 points better off this season than last. There's a lot of football to play, many people beating each other... KTF.
Flippin heck , is that a fact 😲?
As you and many others have rightly said, there's loads of football to play, and most teams are 'much of a muchness'.
However, what concerns many on here is the mediocre quality of football with the ludicrously slow tempo and 'pass for passings sake' mentality which obvly comes from the head coach.
A head coach who still doesn't appear to know his best starting 11, who chops and changes every week, who continues to play his favourites despite the likes of Luke being a weak link at CB.
Without doubt, speakman and dreyfuss have let Mowbray down by not getting in a more experienced CF than we've got currently, and, a DM (the Evans contract extension remains absolutely baffling), and remains to be seen if anything is done to remedy the situation in January.
Given the lack of real quality in the division , it would not take much to propel us and keep us in to the top 4, but the rigid keeping to the "model" bollocks will ensure we just bump along winning one here, losing one there and ultimately finishing outside the top 6.

So do you think we will make the playoffs like last season?

Even Gelhardt scored last season, what's the combined total of goals for all 4 of our strikers so far?

I have news for you, unless something changes and soon, we'll be closer to the relegation spots than the playoff spots.

I think some fans expect us to steamroller most teams in the league and when it doesn't happen it get amplified beyond reason. However that goes the opposite way when we win a couple of games on the bounce and some fans go way ott. In reality we are a young team still learning how to win games sometimes ugly and kill games off. Fingers crossed It'll come in time...

Infuriates me , the only current player you have criticised is Onien. He is the least of our worries. Was our best player by a mile v Huddersfield and has been consistently good all season. Name me anothe CB in the league who can ping 40yd balls accurately with either foot like he does. FFS it’s pathetic the scapegoating on here.

He hasn't like 😂😂

I think it could be more frustration than negativity....every supporter is aware that the issue of a centre forward is now 18 months ongoing......it has turned our team into a one dimensional unit where our only attacking option seems to be give the ball to Jack Clarke......that can drive anyone nuts and is hindering the development of the team.
