I love The Cure but I vowed a few years ago not to see them again seeing as they now just seem to be trading on past glories. However I've softened my stance slightly and would probably want to go and see them again next year. Plus Robert Smith has been hinting at new material lately (although I always take what he says with a massive pinch of salt)

Can't wait for this, been waiting for years for them to do their own gig in Dublin. 1996 is the last time they played a gig apart from a festival in Ireland!

yeah, that sucks a bit, was hoping for Kilmainham, at least its a Saturday so few pints in town then get the DART out there. Just getting back into town will be a bit of a pain.

Fantasic Band. This is the best thing they did IMO. I mean the original is great but this is pure brilliance

I’d say there’ll be demand but can’t see it selling out straight away tbh. It’s the kinda venue they can make bigger or smaller too

Think they’ve had bigger but dunno tbh. At the end of the day it’s just a big field so I’m sure they could apply more if the demand is there. The marlay park gigs rose in size over the years.
