Gaye Bykers On Acid were the support turn.

And that is the sum total of my memories of the evening.

Saw them and The Lesbian Dopeheads On Mopeds at Glastonbury about 30 years ago. Fuck me I feel old typing that.

He’s a decent drummer - nee Nigel Preston - But daft arse Astbury won’t give him a riser so live his drums never cut through the sound the way you want them to.

Preston was class like. So were Brzezicki and Sorum anarl.

Brzezicki is a great drummer. Saw him a few months ago with Big Country and he`s still class.

Duffy and Morrissey were in a band - Marr was friends with Duffy and he introduced them I think

Saw them on just about every tour until the last few years. Maybe twenty times. I think the last one I saw was the Electric re-do tour.

Canny turn and Billy Duffy is one of my all time favourite guitarists but Astbury is a spent force these days.
