The Crux of the Problem

Not a single one of our players would be out of job if we got promoted. They’d all end up back in league one where they belong if they left here.

We have signed too many players who know they aren't good enough for the Championship. They know if we go up they are out of a job. Simple as that.

That's an absolutely shit argument. A lot of the players are out of a job at the end of the season anyway as we signed most with a 2 year deal iirc. And even then if that was the case then they would go to another club trying to get promotion having helped us go up.

Simple fact is the owners have no cash, spunked what they had on going up last season, cut corners getting fans to do the seats for a pint and a burger and brainwashed them with being "part of the club". Now they have no cash to support us, quit Twitter blaming the fans for 'abuse". The fact is they have fucked it up big time and failed (mainly losing out on promotion because of their insistance of setting a target of getting to the checkatrade final) and don't like being questioned on it. Has SD answered the missing 10 million question yet, no he has not.
Some of us called it but we're shot down, they don't have a f***ing clue, but get pissed with the fans so are mint.

They can’t even win games in this league for faux sake
What has it come to
Biggest budget and we still piss it up f***ing embarrassing anyone with half an ounce would b pissing this league but we keep buying shit players and appoint half wit managers f***ing joke of a club the support is realising this

Don't a lot of the players have contracts that run out at the end of this season?
We are in deep shite
Self fulfilling prophesy. If you believe something strongly enough then thats more likely to come true apparently!

The club is too big for the owners and the players aren't good enough for the club. Keep trying to run this club like Eastleigh and we'll soon be playing them

Couldnt name one player in that squad I would take into the championship so either way were fucked , the fact that we call a overweight Scot the king says it all really

Stewart Donald

Nah, we're in crackin' shape  Maybe it will get so bad, that the value of the club makes them panic sell for no profit that they hoped to make. Not saying they don't deserve any profit for the hard work off the pitch, but they have underestimated the desire of other teams in this league, just as the club totally underestimated the Championship. It is like we just want to do enough to try and get back up and then go backwards after getting it horribly wrong.

They're happy to be where they are.
If they are not careful they will be beyond that cos we look just as likely to go down not up. Imagine that, Sunderland AFC in the FOURTH DIVISION. The way we are going that ls a possibility. I have seen some shit in following the lads for sixty years but never have felt such despair as now.
