You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. His budget is League One level, he has been relying on kids on loan from the big clubs of the Premier League all season

You're right, he's done a good job under the circumstances. The club has been mismanaged, but not by Clark. I've nothing against the lad.

He's not been great though. Took him far too long to get rid of dinosaurs like fazackerly and McDermott, by which time the rot had well and truly set in.

The problems he had in getting rid of players weren't his fault. Many of them had contracts which had no relegation clause in them, and so they simply stayed put. Zigic for example has had a pay rise year on year, despite relegation, and he's reportedly on £70,000 p/w. Ian Danter was on TalkSport last week talking about it.

Nah mate - it's terry McDermott the ex Newcastle coach and Derek Fazackerley both were coaches he took on when he signed on at Birmingham.

They were cheering and plenty invaded the pitch, think they thought forest had scored.
Reading game had ended and it was still Forest 1-1 so Reading just had to hope that Albion did not score in the last minute.

Birmingham escape even more dramatic.

Brighton v Derby over two legs to play QPR or Wigan. Who are the more exciting opponents?
