The centre backs today

We are building something interesting and exciting, and in a financially sustainable manner.

Today, two young centrebacks got a full 90 minutes, looking stronger towards the end, Rusyn looked good and Mayenda came on and looked a handful.

Happy with this.
Yep me too. Give the lads a chance. I know they’ll want it to work unlike the wage thieves I’ve grown up watching

Or maybe (shock horror) he just has a different opinion to you.
The big difference between him and you though it that he hasn't spent the last two months criticising Tony Mowbray for every little thing and blaming him every time we don't win a game of football.

Your dislike of him has blinded you from being able to look at things objectively and you end up looking hypocritical.

On this thread you said that the Alex Neil promotion squad was a top ten squad. The first team now is very similar and Mowbray has them 6th. So why the constant digging at him when he's actually exceeding what you expected?

So me and him can say exactly the same and he has valid points and mine isn't. Sounds like you're the one with an axe to grind and an agenda because somebody dares to think differently to you.

I will criticise people when I think they make mistakes, that doesn't mean I want them sacked or think they're doing a bad job. I don't give a toss what some random bloke on a message board says.

I'm not that sensitive to give a f**k or have it impact me in anyway.

Well yes and I've explained why. He hasn't spent two months slagging Tony Mowbray off for every little thing.

When that has been going on and then the same poster randomly comments on a thread about two 20 year old centre backs making their league debut and actually looked poor in the first half saying we have a strong squad then it's clear to me that it's all about trying to play up to that agenda.

I'm not sure why you're banging on about giving a toss about what people say or not letting it impact you. Isn't the point of this message board for us to discuss things other people have poste? Surely if you're as vocal as you have been you expect people to pick up on it and respond.

I disagree that they were poor first half aswell tbh. Pointless continuing this.

There's another thread where somebody else says we have gave Mowbray an excellent squad to work with.

Go and jump on his case instead.

Does 09 come straight back in?

He will and rightly so.

There’s always been an undercurrent on here and in general to sack O’Nien off, if Seelt had a half decent game the day then it would get stronger.

He’ll come back in next week, he’s the best we have to carry or play the ball forward. Yes he may be a liability in the box with the grabbing but he’s a better option than Seelt or Triantis currently.

They definitely weren't as adept at our style of playing out from the back as the usual back two, but they did alright given the circumstances. That said I hope we never have to play the pair of them together again this season.
Completely agree. Lots of dog catching a balloon moments when the ball was at their feet. Better teams would have howked us. Got away with it for me

Well then your agenda is clouding what you're seeing on the pitch. They were both poor. They looked slow and cumbersome and questionable positionally. This cumulated in their goal.

And like I've already said, I won't be "jumping on anyone else's case" because they haven't been sniping at Mowbray for the past few months.

Wrong again. That poster has also had pops at Mowbray, I've linked two below.

I'm sorry that I didn't see a single post in a billion page match thread.
I expect you're going to go and do the same to him then? Or do you just look at the poster and decide to reply?

Sounds like you're the one with an agenda and an axe to grind around here. There's been 2 other posters within half an hour done the same and thinks the same as me about the squad.

Fill your boots.

I haven't seen those posters consistently digging out Mowbray though so there's nothing for me to call out.

Oh, I definitely do have an agenda. With you and the way you've flooded the board with anti-Mowbray nonsense over the last few months.

I've showed you the posts.

I'll let you crack on with your agenda then.

You showed me two posts (well it was originally one and then you snuck another in). I haven't noticed that other poster because unlike you he probably hasn't been spamming the board with his drivel.

Can see us, WBA, Boro and Preston competing for 5th and 6th. Beyond that group I don't see too much to worry about tbh.

Aye mate, I think we are a top 10 team but not convinced we are a top 6 team. I know people will disagree but IMO we haven’t improved our starting XI since last season, only Bellingham has come into it.

They weren’t both poor like. Seelt didn’t put a foot wrong.

He wasn't as bad as Triantis but he was poor first half for me. Looked slow, cumbersome and questionable positionally. He hardly covered himself in glory for their goal.

Don’t think anyone did with their goal tbh, Ekwah lost possession which happened I dunno how many times, Neil let the runner go right past him without tracking, Triantis was dragged out when really Hume was there covering, then Seelt should have realised sooner the runner wasn’t tracked.

By that point he was unmarked and had an easy shot on goal. They’ll all learn from it.
