The centre backs today

I'd say we have a fairly strong squad. Inexperienced and a bit light in a couple of areas, but fairly strong nonetheless.

From what I've seen of us and everyone else, I'd expect us to be somewhere between the playoffs and top half.

Difference is Jungle Book boy is you were sarcastically calling him that on a thread on a manager who was linked to replace him

You know you want him to leave and spent ages slagging him off after spending ages having a go at me for doing the same thing

Hypocrite
Stop trying to derail another thread because you're starved of attention.

I was there. Saw it. I think he’s entitled to make the odd mistake ( as are all the players)and still think he offers a lot.
But it’s all opinion as you rightly say👍

I genuinely think onien makes a major mistake at least one every two games. I don't get the prevailing opinion on his quality at centre back on here at all. I didn't get his right back popularity either

I thought they both did well.

They were comfortable with the ball at their feet and prepared to play out from the back. Seelt looked the better of the two but perhaps because he has had more game time.

I’d be confident with one of them playing alongside Ballard.

But you must then realise that that is exactly what most of our squad is - unproven. Therefore it's impossible to describe it as "strong".
We disagree. There is no point going round and round in circles.

Ballard is one of the best if not the best centre back in the league.

Clarke is the top scorer in the league and probably the best winger.

Neil has had an excellent season and will get a PL move.

It's undoubtedly a strong squad for me, of course there's some deficiencies. It's a 2nd tier squad.
Nobody mentioned about "attention"

You've been called out about your hyporcisy jungle book boy and you are trying to change the subject to deflect it

Bok Bok
You asked if other people called him uncle Tony and clearly doubted it. I proved you wrong as usual

Agree with this. Surprised me that people have took issue with this view..

Thou

Thought Triantis won every header he went for.
Seelt passing out from the back was quick and accurate.
Both obviously nervous early on but for a first start they were decent.
How either doesn’t get a start before 09 is baffling.
Not to those of us who aren't brand new to the sport.

Grow up. More to life than laminating famous people's tweets and looking for replies and bites to fulfil your life marra.

No, you don't want to discuss it because you know you're over-egging the strength of it so it can be used as ammunition against Mowbray.

The first team has some excellent players for this level where that can be said on what they've done on the pitch. The squad overall though is young and unproven while having potential.

So why has @AC Mack also said its a strong squad? What's his motive?

Understandably looked nervy with it being their first start, Triantis only finding out after the warm up.

Thought they grew into the game and looked more comfortable second half. Very raw and still both only 20 year old. Well done to them. Potential is there.

Did a good job in the circumstances. Was very worried before the game and my worry got worse once Cirkin was ruled out.

I am optimistic about it too mate. I'm sure there will be plenty bumps in the road but proud of the understudies today.
Yes there will be bumps. It won’t be plain sailing. Not every signing will work. But I remember the team from 20/21 and I see the team this year and I think they’ve earned my trust. I see a good future for them both in red and white
