The buck stops with the person in charge at the top...

FFP rules stop you buying your way out of the league just look at stoke so makes no difference if you got Billions to spend you can’t spend it

Couldn’t agree more marra, I’m considering giving mine up.

I’m struggling to see the point in renewing my season ticket if our ambition is to plod along in the championship, penny pinching our way as we go while turning profits for our players into … what exactly?
Genuine question here but why not just go and support Newcastle then?

If spending money is all that matters, become a Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern fan.

People need to chill out when it comes to player recruitment we will spend money once we start selling for big money we still have the Ross Stewart money to spend

Why would I want to follow a different team after spending a lifetime following Sunderland, there are a combination of reasons why I am considering giving up my season ticket, the number one reason being I’m not enjoying going anymore, despite many waxing lyrical about our current team I find us a bit one dimensional, we must be the easiest team in the Championship to set up against, stop Clarke and Roberts and our game plan is out the window, don’t get me started on our defensive set up.
The model as it’s termed does nowt for me, it’s a bit like following an U23 side, having a little success and always having in the back of your mind that any diamonds we are lucky enough to unearth will be cashed in.
To be honest I’m falling out of love with football in general, it will be me that suffers if I sever my links with a team I’ve been following for more years than I care to remember.
