The Bournemouth View

Leicester and Bournemouth do have one thing in common: They are both poxy little village outfits.

As for Spurs, you'd be bitter too if you were constantly in the shadow of more illustrious neighbours. Arsenal have always been ten times as big as them.

Such a big club that even the mighty Huddersfield have won more league titles.
Likewise you and the Geordies

2 seasons in the big league and they start to think they're class. We were poor last season and were close to catching them in the end.

It always happens. I bet they gave our fans zero credit yesterday considering our points total thus far and the fact we took circa 1500 fans down there.
I remember Swansea fans being like that too. I bet they're not so cocky now.

I went to Bournemouth once.
it was shit.

f***ing hell, there are some right precious fannies on here. One tit on a message board and suddenly people have got the pet lips on and are reciting their attendances.
I do like a precious fanny mind

From one of their message boards:

"Then again would you rather be an AFCB or a Sunderland fan after watching that? We've got some issues but they are utter sh*te. Watching their fans celebrate reminded me of those programmes on TV where morbidly obese people try to lose weight. Yeah you lost 2lb this week but it's no use - you'll be back binging on pies next week and will still die of heart disease."

Obviously they wouldn't have celebrated under such circumstances. Honestly, they have nee f***ing idea have they??

More disturbing is that the message board also says that our fans didn't observe the minute's silence before the game. I hope that's not correct....

It does appear they have gotten too big for their boots. They ought to remember where they were before Eddie Howe came along. They revel so much in the fact they have only been able to stabilize themselves they can't or won't. If it wasn't for the fact this club that was a club for so long one of the great plucky underdogs I would feel so furious with them right now. But I just pity them.

I honestly don't know where you lot get all your arrogance from?

You won 5 league titles before WW1 when the league was an amateur league and act like the old pub bore telling you of the time when he used to be someone.

You've been in the PL for ten years and still your brand gets overtaken very quickly and only generate enough money to be the 15th biggest out of 17 clubs. Your gates are supplemented by 9,000 free tickets and really cheap tickets that your match day income is comparable with Swansea who are also a poor city but with half the gates.

Why can't you just accept that Bournemouth are a developing club who have done well for themselves? They filled their allocation away at Leicester last season and f they had the stadium they might end up getting 20-25k. It's easily quite feasible that they could overtake Sunderland in the next 50 years and that should be respected rather than the arrogance that they're no long term threat to you and insignificant.

I am a Newcastle fan but unlike many on here I'm able to take an objective look at how Sunderland play. A new house and new baby means I had to give the season ticket up so I had our match on the radio and your match on telly

the difference between the 2 teams was 2 shocking bits of defending from Bournemouth and an outstanding display from Pickford. On another day SAFC could easily have lost 3-0. .

Aye.

Tbf, whilst it's understandable that SAFC fans are over the moon with the win it doesn't disguise the fact that the difference between the 2 teams was 2 shocking bits of defending from Bournemouth and an outstanding display from Pickford. On another day SAFC could easily have lost 3-0. Moyes is still manager, the squad is still awful and the finances are still a distaster.
I hope you're not trying to ruin the memory of what was a fantastic day out? ;)

And how would you know what free tickets get given out ? You do realise nufc do the same thing ? We'd still get 37/8 k without any free tickets if the that's the case .

Bundle of fun right here ladies and gentlemen.
