Tbf, whilst it's understandable that SAFC fans are over the moon with the win it doesn't disguise the fact that the difference between the 2 teams was 2 shocking bits of defending from Bournemouth and an outstanding display from Pickford. On another day SAFC could easily have lost 3-0. Moyes is still manager, the squad is still awful and the finances are still a distaster.
I'm not sure which game you were watching but until the sending off we were the better side. Victors goal was a really good goal as well. The lead up to the penalty was well worked as well.

As for Pickford surely that's what's he's there for.

What, may I ask are you?

And yet, had we taken a couple of chances and watmores not being disallowed (it was offside though) we may have battered you. Face it, you couldnt beat a team with 10 men. Our players did as expected.

We got the 3 points man, that's all that matters. Fuck what some wanker has said in the internet and just enjoy the fact that we've won a game.

You weren't the better team though. Penalty aside Pickford was making worldy saves to keep you in it

I think we were. Most of the class saves were made after we went down to 10 men and were under the cosh.

We scored a great goal that was disallowed for just being offside which would have put us 2 up and we looked the more dangerous at this stage.

Who do you support?

I am a Newcastle fan but unlike many on here I'm able to take an objective look at how Sunderland play. A new house and new baby means I had to give the season ticket up so I had our match on the radio and your match on telly

This is only half the story. We had to get a win somehow and we did. We got lucky but then in other games we've been unlucky. With eleven players on the park we played well and after a lad was dismissed we somehow still got the winner. This is how football teams put a run together. It's how it works. Your evaluation is based on the assumption we're already relegated but history shows you this may not be the case. Open your mind to possibilities, mate.

It is always difficult to predict how a game would have gone if Pinear had not been sent off. However I did feel prior to that I believed that we were growing in confidence and became the better team especially at 1-1. But who knows, if we did not go down to 10 men we might have been more open and allowed them to score

Rubbish. I've just looked through your posting history and not once have you given us any praise. That is not being objective.

Get a life man. Did you actually watch our full game or are you just referring to edited highlights?

We both might be back in the Championship soon but I know which is more likely to come back up and it will be partly due to our fantastic support.
