11,000

I'm not even one to give a fuck about attendances but come on

Speaking to afew in the pub and they were saying that because they don't own the ground they can't really develop it because they'd just be adding value for the landlords.

Sounds like they've tried to buy it but they can't because they're demanding like 100million just because they're now in the premier. Bournemouth sold the ground for 3mill when they were in the shit. Pay 2,000 a day in rent

You could hear our lot still singing on my stream, a case of still being in the concourse and not knowing what is going on.
Happens every year at all grounds.

As for Bournemouth, socially, demographically, historically (in a football sense) we're poles apart, so pipe down.

Bournemouth are awful at the back and are carrying a passenger in Wiltshire. We were the better team at 1-1.

I hated our ultra negative tactics with 10 men and we got lucky, especially with their misses bit fuck them, 3 points to us :)

As for the silence, lads and lasses travel 350 miles to see a team with 2 points from 10 games will need as much drinking time as possible. From reports you can't hear tannoy in the bar. Perfectly understandable.

From one of their message boards:

"Then again would you rather be an AFCB or a Sunderland fan after watching that? We've got some issues but they are utter sh*te. Watching their fans celebrate reminded me of those programmes on TV where morbidly obese people try to lose weight. Yeah you lost 2lb this week but it's no use - you'll be back binging on pies next week and will still die of heart disease."

Obviously they wouldn't have celebrated under such circumstances. Honestly, they have nee f***ing idea have they??

More disturbing is that the message board also says that our fans didn't observe the minute's silence before the game. I hope that's not correct....

Any views from normal Bournemouth fans, like ones that aren't absolute cock ends?

They don't play in Wiltshire they play in Dorset ;)

They be back into football obscurity in no time, in fact I think they could struggle this season. All's it could take is a few injuries and confidence to drop.

Talked to some Southampton fans in the Harbour a couple of years back.

They said they couldn't take AFCB seriously despite their Premier League status as they were the local smaller league team who they played every pre season, a bit like us with Pools.

They still see Pompey as their rivals despite AFCB being 3 leagues higher.

Tbf, whilst it's understandable that SAFC fans are over the moon with the win it doesn't disguise the fact that the difference between the 2 teams was 2 shocking bits of defending from Bournemouth and an outstanding display from Pickford. On another day SAFC could easily have lost 3-0. Moyes is still manager, the squad is still awful and the finances are still a distaster.

2 seasons in the big league and they start to think they're class. We were poor last season and were close to catching them in the end.

It always happens. I bet they gave our fans zero credit yesterday considering our points total thus far and the fact we took circa 1500 fans down there.

We know that. Doesn't matter, we won a game.

We were the better team with 11 men.

The fans in the stands did observe the minute's silence impeccably, there was noise coming from those under the stand and those still outside, the ground being so small meant the chanting was easy to hear, no disrespect was shown by anyone.

People desperate to be offended as usual.
