The best Dutch lager

Budels or Heineken for me.

Edit: Is La Trappe Dutch?

It originates at a French monastery. Whether or not a Dutch company has stolen it I cannot say.

Remember two things

1. The Trappist beers ... based on the charter from La Trappe in the NW of France

2. Bloody Kronenbourg who call their gnatspiss lager 1664, the year the Trappist charter was agreed and signed.

So judge it by flavour, taste and fun.

They're mostly shit, their IPAs and blond beers are bloody excellent though. Anything by Brouwerij 't ij or De Prael is usually a corker. Two Chefs Brewing are good too.

From the stuff that has reached the mainstream, Grolsch is the best!

Glad to see you made it!

Brand Zwaar Blond is the best I have tasted over there. Strong stuff though.
Can't get it over here so last time I was over brought a few back with me to keep me going.
