The best assist you've ever seen

Wayne Rooney. Deffo end of thread.
Just watched it again and it should have been disallowed by VAR as there is a cheeky trip at 9 secs ;) A few seconds later the lad running to the ball looks across and therefore doesn't see the lad who was tripped further up the pitch. If the tripped lad had been there the ball may well have squared first time rather than taking a touch I'm jesting

Not one of Rooney's team mates go to celebrate with him on his overall effort for one of the best assists ever seen 🤪

Not sure if anyones mentioned it, but Beckham’s assist to Ronaldo for Real Madrid circa 2004 when he was about 5 years or so in front of the halfway line and bent a daisy cutter straight into his foot, sublime

#65. Incredible pass
Roy O'Donovan sitting on the Birmingham keeper to allow Stern John to equalise.

On a more serious note: Redondo against Man United is my personal favourite.
Yes to both. Both ingenious assists

David Silva to Dzeko springs to mind in Man City’s 6-1 win at Old Trafford. Volleyed it perfectly into his path.
