Just watching them on BBC1, I know its hardly cutting edge stuff that will change the world but by god haven't they had some some superb tunes either what they sung themselves or passed onto some other lucky fucker

Very talented blokes imo

one of them bands people think it is fashionable to like, the last time you listened to them was?

Shite

Amazingly songwriters. I don't know if anyone has dominated the charts like they did in the late 70's.

The 60's stuff is the best though, 1st may be the best pop album ever.

no 1 hits in 4 decades - plus wrote countless hits for other people

I have a few of their albums on my mp3 player

shite though

not for me that like..

if you look back at their changing styles, an amazing band over the decades.
To think that in 2001 they had already sold more than 110 million (yes, that is one hundred and ten million!) albums worldwide

Add what they have sold on top of that with re-releases and back catalogue, and how many other bands have covered their songs (from Take That to Diana Ross) ove past ten years it is absolutely stunning what they achieved

Anyone see the documentry the other day, got to say that a young Barry Gibb does resemble the bloke whose banging Tess Daily.

Could never understand the falsetto. They were pretty harmonious for three white blokes then Barry comes out with Stayin Alive singing like he caught his balls in a mangle - why?
