I have a strong opinion on how shit Wyke is amongst others and don't even get me started on Parkinson. However if I see them walking down the street with their family or in a supermarket I'm not going to shout abuse at them. That's not on.

If we get back into games I'll give all the team and management my backing for the 90mins however I'd make my feelings known at the end of the game if they serve up similar shit as they did today

It's becoming quite toxic

Its free speech you have a right to be negative about our owner, manager and players. None of which are good enough

But let the criticism be on this forum or inside the stadium when we get back

I get worried that a very small minority will take it too far and abuse the players or manager in public. Those are not true Sunderland fans
Toxic ? The clowns running the club have got off very lightly in my opinion, it’s the third division man and we are utter shite some of them players will be worried about playing the mighty Fleetwood on Friday night this is the shitshow situation the parasites in the boardroom have us in.

My point exactly mate you have got exactly what I meant.. You seem to be the only one... The team manager and owner are garbage but use in the anger in the right manner

Sunderland are 8th in Division 3 in our 3rd season in this league.

I have defended the owners in the past.

Things are a shambles from top to bottom at our Club.

If this takeover does not happen and there is not fundamental shake up of our club I dread where we will be in coming months.

The negative dire tactics of PP are an absolute disgrace. We had 5 sub options today...we were crying out for change with some energy and pace...we bring on Power on in the 90th minute.

The owners need to go, the manager needs to go and we need complete change at our club from top to bottom.

Agree with op though lets fight for change without it getting toxic.

I have no dislike for the players

They try their best

This idea that we have a top squad is nonsense

Our strikers today were Wyke n maguire

Nowhere near good enough to go up
Correct

Exactly WE ARE 8TH IN THE THIRD DIVISION. It is an undeniable fact that Parkinson has failed in the 13 months he's been here - utter failure.

It should never get to the point where the players can’t go shopping or whatever and get abused.
however, the attraction of coming here is the fan base and stadium, big club etc etc. The reason they are here is because they want the adulation of our fans. So when it starts going wrong and as pathetically wrong as it is now they must accept there will be fans fuckin fuming about it. Especially the manager. He’s totally failing at a job that he’ll say is a hard one because of pressure of fans and expectations and all that bollox they always come out with. He’s failing because he’s shite at his job and like it or not he will get stick. How far people go is up for debate but peoplein the north east are passionate. What’s going on is embarrassing and he’s fair game for some uncomfortable questions.

Errrrr, when is this going to happen any time soon?
Plenty of us travel a fair distance to watch the Lads.
Prior to lockdown the product served up was a f***ing car crash.
it’s seemingly got no better with this Muppet in charge.

There's uncomfortable questions and stick but it shouldn't go further.

Think the OP is just hoping nothing similar to the Murray glass incident down the Quayside when someone decided to have a go at him and McCarthy when they were out with their wives having a meal

We shouldn’t forget that Donald gave us this manager. The manager is not good enough or big enough for this club. His mentality seems to be that mid table is ok. He has never tried to connect with the fans and isn’t capable of doing that and at a club like ours we need that connection.
It’s a job that he just doesn’t get.
He’s lost the support and doesn’t look like getting us promoted, he needs to go but don’t forget who thought he was right for the job. Another major blunder by our owner.

It’s only so bad because people cannot vent their anger in person thanks to the dystopian totalitarian state of the U.K. right now. Think people are more angry in general too. The owners certainly deserve it. Outside of this place I doubt the players even realise the stick they are getting. Blaming the fans has become tiresome. Prior to this season we lost 2 of our last 42 home league games, already lost 2 this season.
