As long as the abuse is over the management of the club and not personal it's fair game for me as he is getting alot more wrong than right at the moment
How can it NOT be personal?

PP doing a dreadful job and is out of his depth.
Is that not personal ?

It's becoming quite toxic

Its free speech you have a right to be negative about our owner, manager and players. None of which are good enough

But let the criticism be on this forum or inside the stadium when we get back

I get worried that a very small minority will take it too far and abuse the players or manager in public. Those are not true Sunderland fans
It would be easier to find bin laden when he was alive.

Toxic ?....Andy Reid has spoken openly about our fan base " some of the best and loyal fans in the world " .....i agree with him , us fans take some beating , the shite we have endured

Must have a cushty life if you're worried that a group of Safc fans are going to channel their inner vigilant arses and storm the manager and owners gaff like

He can’t complain if he’s not going to resign. He’s stealing a living off us. Deserves everything he gets.
The honourable thing for him to do would be to remove himself from the situation he is currently exacerbating with his pig headedness and ineptitude. Unfortunately I suspect, just like the pair of tits that hired him he doesn’t have any.

All I see is objective criticism:
  • Even Danny Collins was saying at 65 minutes we needed fresh legs on and the fact that the ball wasn't sticking with Wyke at all today meant we needed him taking off. The fact that we didn't cost us and so the dropping of 2 points was down to the manager.
  • When he was brought in I assume the owners said his target was top 2. In 13 months we have never threatened the top 2. He has objectively underperformed and no one can see how he will improve it.
  • He identified the lack of pace in the team and in the summer brought in 2 awful, slow signings in Graham and O'Brien - with the salary cap wages are tight - why waste it on them. He has youngsters who have pace but he doesn't trust youth.
That sums up a lot of the very fair criticism. In what way is that taking it too far. The standard in this division this year is pitiful and we are struggling. We as fans have done our bit - record attendances etc. I think its fair enough to criticise a manager who is doing a very bad job. Any problem with that?

Total and utter bull shit...the concept of free speech, you do conveniently talk about
enables any individual to recognise the right to criticize.
People on here are angry and rightly so go and stick your liberal clap trap up your arse !!

What do people not understand.? .. I said fans have every right to be angry... The club is a joke...but I'm saying make sure the anger stays on here and doesn't go over the top.

Already had posts saying SD has to watch his back and a petition saying PP has to be tossed down stairs
Doughnuts fault. He should have got the lift fixed.

Not at all anything questioning his professional judgement is fair game.
Anything saying he is a tw*t or a wan*er is unwarranted IMHO.
I have worked with genuinely decent people in jobs and I wouldn't have word said against their personality but have been dog turd at their job.
Big difference between having a pop at a manager/player professionally and personally.
I get the impression PP is a decent enough (if boring) fella who is trying his best unfortunately his best professionally simply isn't good enough and he should be removed from his post
