That Time When Shearer

He didn't bottle Keane at all mind. Pretty sure in keanes first book he admits that Shearer wound him up and was laughing at him after he'd been sent off. I know Shearer not most popular on here but I fail to see why he'd bottle a little skinny kid like Keane.

To be fair I hate Shearer as much as the next man on here but he didn't bottle Keane that day - made him look like a nobhead tbh.

Look at the clip of his reaction to Keane's push man  he looks as if he's going to cry. He was chuffed when the players and ref separated them. Then he all of a sudden got cocky when he knew Keane wasn't going to get to him.

For all the slagging off Shearer gets he was uniquely a bit of a hard (unt that managed to refrain from being a gob shite wanker. Besides the whole mags link I actually quite liked him as a player, did his job very well and didn't get carried away with trying to create a 'character' around himself like Keane did, who lets all be honest is a complete and utter wanker and always was as a player.

He walked away from him and didn't retaliate. Yes it was clever in that he got him sent off but he didn't want to know man. And the skinny comment is ridiculous, he was a boxer as a young un. Plus, some big lads are soft as shite and some little lads are hard as fuck. Always been that way and always will be.
