That sunday sinking feeling...

never really feel any different to any other day before work. Mind, I could probably just not even log in all day and no-one would notice.

At least you don’t have to get on a bus, first thing on a morning, that’s full of eye watering cigarette smoke.
I did ..Town End Farm, 1963..😭
I used to get on the school special in the late 90s to thornhill walking up the stairs was like stars in your eyes coming through the curtains 😂 everybody with a Benson or a regal on the go

Don't mind them too much to be honest. Bit gutted I can't just do what I want tomorrow mind.

To be honest since WFH and getting settled in my latest job I don't really dread working. Sure when projects were coming to an end I'd get a bit jittery previously, but now I'm not contracting it's never really been an issue.

I think since lockdown it's made me realise that I never really hated work, it was more the having to get up ridiculously early just to sit in traffic that I couldn't stand.

Doesn't help if you have to work with them and they make the job harder than it needs to be, no educating some people.

I understand what you mean. My job is to coach people to be better. Sometimes people just need a bit of guidance. I just tend to focus on what is in my control.

I like my job. Sometimes can't believe I have a job so handy. But I still dread it come Sunday night. I do it because I have to, not because I want to.

That's why I said about making the job harder, it takes away a perfectly controlled environment for most of the time when you have a weak link.
I don't really mind the things I can't control otherwise, facility issues etc.
