That sunday sinking feeling...

One of the benefits of working from home is that Monday mornings don't seem as bad

Agree with this, I WFH on Monday and Thursday. The Thursday helps get into the weekend cos Friday at work is just a half day so quite a chilled day where i catch up and do expenses, timesheets, stuff like that.

Only problem is my boss is a twat and he's trying to clamp down on WFH just becuase he wants the control of having all his staff in. There is no need for this because our jobs can be done 100% from home if needs be. He often puts meetings in our calendars that have to be Face To Face in his office on our WFH days just to be awkward. No need for it. He's just got everyones back up and everyone is now looking for another job with the flexibility that we all had during lockdown.

Nice chill out day for me. Work tonight (and last night and Friday) off Tuesday Wednesday. Sunderland match and then on Wednesday Probably Arsenal v Man C Wednesday with a few cans.

My office is 300 miles away, I'm fortunate that I can be anywhere in the world and still do my job as long as I have my laptop and internet access.

My boss is very relaxed about it as long as I'm meeting deadlines he's not fussed what hours I do

Most jobs are alright; it's usually the people that are the pain in the neck.
I'm really lucky that I love my job, and the people who work with, and around me are fantastic work mates, (I'm a supermarket cleaner/janitor) though in the past, when I worked in a factory, I always dreaded going in to work, especially at the start of the week, after having had a good weekend of drinking & going to the match.

This 😂 when I was a bairn it was the worst feeling in the world . Me mar with the ironing board out getting my school clothes ready and that tripe on the tele memory's that will never leave

I know I’m garn on about on here about knocking the drink on the head etc but;

This last month I’ve never had that feeling as bad,I find the better weather is helping and getting out and about on a Sunday helps massively

I got stinking drunk yesterday - today has been a write off and my head is in the bin, moodwise.

Won’t be doing that again for a good while.
