That crypto king F*****

Did your stepfather know it was a Ponzi?

And for those equating it to book making it's akin to shooting a horse in the forehead and asking you and your mates to bet on it. Knowing the horse is dead.
Don't know, he's pretty savvy with tech and finance stuff so trusted his judgement. I'm not a gambler and usually pretty skeptical but saw my family making money so jumped in on it

Bookies have glitz and glamour but their business is to take your money.
COS is unregulated but the people behind it are going to do the same to most "investors".
Everyone I know who's "invested" in COS knows it's going to disappear and have a plan.
It's a gamble on timing rather than outcome.
I'm sure there are people out there who think the crypto trading is real but not among people I know.
Absolute wrang uns then.

Hope they all get done for fraud then.

They’ll become local pariahs at the very least. Everyone hates losing money and can’t take responsibility for the loss themselves most of the time so they’ll look for someone to blame so they come across as a victim. Invariably that will be the person that referred them and so on and so forth.
The people who refer mates pay them in with 50 quid from own money as they make it back slot of the moaners haven’t got a clue what they are talking about

Get a life man Jesus are you outraged ???
I’m just not a simpleton or a shit head mate. Everyone investing in this is one or the other.

That says everything you need to know then. I’m also aware that people are doing this which makes them total shitheads. Passing other peoples personal information on to a network of fraudsters in a known Ponzi for their own personal gain and with no regard for the person they’ve referred. You getting it yet?

you are talking bollocks there mind. typical modern over-reaction and setting out of two extremes with no nuanced middle ground

my good mate who got into it simply saw his mates app making money, so put in a few spare quid that he had. didn't know a single thing about it, just that it made a bit pocket money for him and thats the top and bottom of it.

Since when does a Ponzi scheme need a nuanced middle ground like?

This thread is class.
You’re so jealous . Do you think people would still be doing it and word wouldn’t of spread if you couldn’t get money out ffs
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Answer the question please….

are you being f***ing thick on purpose? thats not what i said or implied. how did you even arrive at that conclusion?

my mate was sat talking to his other mate, and the other mate shows him an app where an 'investment' is making a small percentage 'return' . neither of them know how it works, but the money comes into their banks, so they go with it.

thats it.

Sorry but no. There is no nuance at all here. Everything we do comes with responsibility and that very much applies to how we use our money. Putting money 'into an app' that you don't know anything about but which promises to make you some money should be a massive alarm bell for something which isn't going to be morally acceptable, never mind legal. I would pretty sharply ditch any such mates if I heard they were doing this.

Why do you need info your clearly a backseat driver
I’ll ask for a third and final time. How much profit is currently sitting in your UK bank account from Cosetek?

what a load of shite man.

i've bought and sold crypto currency over the years - never really made anything - but do i know how it works? no

do i know how pensions and investment funds work? no, but i still put money into them

the reason i wouldn't put money into this COS app is because it seems too good to be true, but if you are expecting people to only ever invest in things that they fully understand then no one would ever invest in anything, ever.

my mate who i know was into it is out of it now, but he's a good lad. i've known him all my life and you reckon i should ditch him as a mate cos he gambled some of his spare cash on an app that was making his mate some pocket money? get a f***ing grip man

you are embarrassing yourself here mind.

everyone agrees its a ponzi scheme, we all know that now. if you know that, but still get on it then you deserve flack.

but my point is that a vast percentage of lads who got into it wouldn't have had a clue that it was ripping someone else off, they just saw themselves as savvy and making a few quid by letting someone else play with their money. doesn't make them a 'shithead' , 'thick as shit' or 'morally bankrupt' . some of them are just a bit naive. some

It sounds like I do 'have a grip' of reality, as no, I most certainly wouldn't invest in anything I didn't understand. Seems like a pretty sensible approach which the vast majority of people would agree with. You don't understand, and are happy not to, even in basic terms, how a pension or investment fund works?

I never told you to ditch your mate, I just said I would.

Aye of course.

Everyone knows it’s a Ponzi but…..

That’s alright then.

in basic terms without googling it i'd say an investment fund or a pension fund is where you give money to a company to hold for you, and they are professionals at investing it and making a return, of which they take a percentage and you make a very small profit

if i didn't have access to this thread and someone in a pub showed me this COS app, i'd probably think it worked in exactly the same way, but unregulated and therefore far too risky for me.
