Anyone else taking Short / Byrne out banners on Sat? I'm sick to death of this shambles of a club and the inept arseholes running it. I know there's no chance of much being organised at this stage but I for one and sick to death of the c*nts and am not waiting any longer to let them know. We are almost certainly fucked but even if we stay up we all know what's going to happen next season #bestsupportersever, renew your season tickets, another useless twat in the dugout and £15m spent by Short on mediocre crap while selling whatever minimal quality we still have. Whatever division we're in next year we need a change and even if a protest doesn't force him out it might put him under pressure to surround himself with some footballing people rather than people who have time and time again proven they know even less about running a club than Short. It's unacceptable that fallen so far back from the team we had 4-5 years ago.

No thanks.
This is not where Sunderland are about.
Complete mag behavior, even to suggest it is piggin ridiculous, if your sick just don't bother and let the rest of us concentrate on getting behind the team.

Paragraphs!!!

'make the stadium shake with noise'.

We all know what will happen. There will be a noisy first 10-20 minutes, we'll fall behind, the stadium will go dead, people will start to leave and the atmosphere will die because the players do not give a single fuck. If we are falling apart when do we act? If not this season the start of next when we're trying to go up or stay in this division by the skin of our teeth? The club is going absolutely no where, how much longer do we do nothing? We've turned on manager after manager and yet haven't once challenged the moron who has appointed them, radically changed structure several times and gone from signing poor players on huge wages to not providing necessary investment. We're not mags- no we're not, which is why for years we've put up with this shit for years and done nothing. We haven't had a regular Short out carnival each year when something happens. But we shouldn't be f***ing pushovers either. It's not the exclusive domain of Newcastle fans to protest, especially given the level of shit we've had.

So protesting is going to help us get the points?
If we go down, it's what we deserve and no amount banner waving will make any difference

How many of you have been walking out of recent games? Not judging, O have too. But if a banner expressing negative sentiments to the board is so bad for moral, displayed either during half time, full time or if we're badly losing, why isn't 2/3rd of the stadium leaving. The facts are that whenever the Sunderland support has really turned on a manager Short has acted sharply. Maybe if he is under pressure he will stop f***ing around himself and realise he needs to seriously remodel the board. Maybe he'll just be more open to selling and if the right person comes along he'd entertain a bid. I can't see how apathetically taking another season going backwards is going to help.

We aren't the mags mate, we just sit and accept the shite served up to us every week. I've took the piss out of them about the way they go on but at least they try and make a change. We just walk out at half time after getting trounced and forget about it. I don't agree with your (obviously pisstaking) point of taking banners on Saturday however I'd like to see our fans actually try and do something, make a stand about the running of our club. Unfortunately any inkling of this is snarled at and laughed off by our fans.
