Thai cave boys

Pleased to hear they are all out safely. Definitely should be some recognition for the divers and those who have helped in the rescue mission.

What an absolutely fantastic effort by these divers. Managing to rescue 12 young lads out of a flooded cave perilous even for professional divers to navigate. Heroes imo and I hope they get top quality recognition.
Aye this.

I also hope they seal off the entrance so that no more lives need be lost, to say nothing of the expense, chasing after sight seeing knuckle heads who want to go and see where it all happened.

Absolutely beautiful to see a happy ending to this, much needed with the depressing news of today's world. To see the process of this rescue day by day was so tense, but they've did it!

Again, RIP to the marine who sacrificed his life to help save those boys.

I'd hate to see it blocked off. if anything people will be more aware of the dangers but I don't see why nature needs to be blocked off

People are stupid. They need to be saved from themselves. This was an accident but no need to allow Facebook wankers to go piling in there to take a selfie on the spot the kids were marooned.

A Hollywood movie?
There's no time to waste in Hollywood, as the arrival of two American producers has proved.

Pure Flix, a US film company, has got its partner Michael Scott and co-producer Adam Smith in Tham Luang and they're already conducting pre-interviews for a possible movie project, according to news agency AAP.

Asked if their actions might be seen as insensitive, Mr Smith said: "There's going to be other production companies coming in so we have to act pretty quickly."

We're unable to confirm if a film is actually in the works but we'll find out soon enough.
You've taken my leg reet off with that

Good to see they're all out safe though!

The boys from the rescued team have been invited to watch a Man Utd game next season.

Is that appropriate? They've just had a near-death experience involving a seemingly unending torrent of rain, barely breathable air and perpetual darkness, and they've been invited to f***ing Manchester??
