Surely this day and age we have the technology to drive a drift down to them and walk them out quicker than them just waiting it out?

Asphyxiation or drowning, some choice for the poor buggersI read they have 3/4 days left to get them it before air turns toxic or the rains come.
Cave diving is the most dangerous type. Loads of people die going it. I can’t imagine they have many other options if that’s the plan now.
I’m a fairly experienced diver and it’s the only diving I absolutely will not do. Makes me feel sick thinking about it.The sheer thought of cave diving brings me out in a cold sweat. Cold, dark and the only guaranteed way back to air is the way you came in. I have done a bit of caving and the more extreme end of that is scary enough without adding in he diving bit
Hmm. That’s grim. There's something slightly unpleasant in the reporting of this story.
The breakfast shows are starting to make this like a weird form of the 'X-Factor'.
They keep focussing on how cute the little one is, how the eldest is keeping spirits up', etc.
It's all been promoted as a jolly jape despite the fact that one or more of the children could quite easily die.
It reminds me of these earthquake tragedies when hundreds die but it's all good because .....
"After 10 days, buried alive, this little boy was dug out ...... hooray!"
Hmm. That’s grim.
