Thai cave boys

Surely this day and age we have the technology to drive a drift down to them and walk them out quicker than them just waiting it out?
RIP to the brave lad who`s given his own life trying to help mind

If the coach gets out, he needs to be charged with summat.
A 3000 amp/hour cattle prod would be my choice, the irresponsible twat

‘Drift down’ ?

Hope all goes well. If they all make it out there’s definitely going to be a film made about it isn’t there, fascinating story.

Cave diving is the most dangerous type. Loads of people die going it. I can’t imagine they have many other options if that’s the plan now.

The sheer thought of cave diving brings me out in a cold sweat. Cold, dark and the only guaranteed way back to air is the way you came in. I have done a bit of caving and the more extreme end of that is scary enough without adding in he diving bit

I’m a fairly experienced diver and it’s the only diving I absolutely will not do. Makes me feel sick thinking about it.

There's something slightly unpleasant in the reporting of this story.

The breakfast shows are starting to make this like a weird form of the 'X-Factor'.

They keep focussing on how cute the little one is, how the eldest is keeping spirits up', etc.

It's all been promoted as a jolly jape despite the fact that one or more of the children could quite easily die.

It reminds me of these earthquake tragedies when hundreds die but it's all good because .....

"After 10 days, buried alive, this little boy was dug out ...... hooray!"

So that makes everything OK then ....

Hmm. That’s grim.

Hmm. That’s grim.

One rescue diver has already died, the adult will most likely face criminal charges as are the people who allowed this insanity in the first place.

More rescuers could easily lose their lives.

Yes, I agree it's grim and I believe the reporting is inappropriate.

There's no need to keep showing live shots every morning.

I'll guarantee the reporting will be greatly scaled down if they start sending body bags down.
