Might be the diaphragm that presses the hot water switch is fucked. When you turn on your hot tap does the boiler click or attempt to fire-up at all? I’ve replaced the diaphragm in mine a few times, it flexes under the pressure of the water feed when you turn the tap on and expands enough to depress the micro switch which activates the boiler. It’s a doddle to fix and costs about 50p, so hopefully just that, rather than the diverter valve marra.
