Think Potts has shown enough that England know what they get from him. Don't think he's been 'dropped' as such but looked as a squad bowler to come in when needed, dependable.

He’s hardly had a look in of late and didn’t get used in India, which I’d assume is similar conditions to Pakistan.

Too good a bowler, proven at international level. They've backed archer, stone, wood over numerous injuries, would be a surprise to discard Robinson after a few poor months

Robinson has been dropped for attitude and general fitness as much as his injuries. I’d be amazed if they went back to him, in fact I would go as far as to say he’s already played his last international game.

I get the impression they well pissed off with Robinson for his lack of professionalism and he may come back but will find it very difficult

It's a shame as well because he's an excellent bowler when he puts the effort in.

We have Atkinson, Stone, Wood, Potts, Tongue and potentially Hull and Pennington knocking on the door. He could find himself well out of the selectors thoughts. To be fair though he has said he is determined to get everything right so we will see.

I don’t think the conditions are very similar at all these days especially when we visit. India always give us turners on the basis that they have three of the best in the world, we can’t play it, and Bumrah can bowl on anything. Pakistan haven’t had a decent spin attack for ages, so they don’t.

Yeah agree I hope he gets his head down and comes back as clearly good enough
