I'm so disillusioned with the c*nts at the minute. In reality, or rather in my opinion - if they truly mean the "looking to the future" crack (which they blatantly don't, then Compton, Carberry and Prior should all be pensioned off.

Won't happen though, not am I suggesting it should.

As far as this summer is concerned? Fuck knows. Not sure I really care. I mean I'll be watching and supporting, but I've become so detached from the England set-up that I just can't be arsed wasting my time guessing who might be in the team.

Ashley Giles can fuck off and catch syphilis for all I care.

I look at this different, England where beaten fair and square by a better team, and over the back to back series the Aussies where by far the better side and played more aggresive attacking cricket.
As a result this has set the first half of the up and coming domestic series brilliantly. There must be at least twenty players who have had no or very little involvment with England over the past few years who will be playing championship cricket who believe that if they perform in the championship they could be in the England line up for the first test match.
At Durham alone you have players like Stoneman or Wood who if they score big runs or take a bag full of wickets could come into the reckoning. The same goes for Borthwick. Then you have Onions who may look out at missing out on the Ashes tour as a blessing in disguise especially if he continues his form from last season.
