How long before the lesser supported nations stop playing test cricket altogether? NZ vs WI 2nd test with the game in the balance and there is less than a cold Tues April afternoon at CLS in attendance. Even the bigger supported nations struggle for decent support in tests the majority of the time however is the TV viewers carrying it for now?

I think they are going to see how reducing tests to four days, more of these day/night games and iirc the test world championship goes.

It will be a sad day imo when the traditional five day tests are gone, but that appears what the TV companies, ICC and the likes of India, England and Australia are angling for.

I agree it will be a sad day losing the fifth day but looking at the atrocious attendances across the globe for it something needs to be done so test cricket gets back to where it belongs
