This was my biggest criticism of it. They’ve messed with all the characters. They had it spot on but changed almost all of them.I'm invested now, I'll struggle through to the end but season one outshone season 2 by a long way.
It's not about Ted Lasso and his move to the English game anymore, it's turned into a romantic comedy.
Ted is now a flawed manic depressive, Nate has stopped giving advice, Roy is finding his feminine side .... tripe
As soon as I figure out what is going on in "Nine Perfect Strangers" it may become my new Friday watch.
ThisNate is a nob! That is all

I think about it every time he’s on screen, it’s proper ruined the character for meStill creased at the Roy Kent is Kevin Ball thing
funnier than season 2
This post was ahead of its timeI have just binged all 10 episodes of this.
What an amazingly upbeat, uplifting and optimistic tv show.
Highlights from a Sunderland point of view was
1) subtle dig at Newcastle (Bowyer vs Dyer barny) and
2) The captain of team reminded me of Kevin Ball (came from London and made his career at Sunderland) if Bally won the champions league.
I can't help think they watched Sunderland til I die when making this.
It's cheesy at times but so full of heart.
I hate him , I thought when it explored the lack of approval from his dad that would be the end of his nastiness but he’s got worse - haven’t seen the ending yet though so maybe it becomes clearer#NatetheNob
The Nate story arc was completely without any background. It is ridiculous.Disappointed with season two. Every single character's arc has changed and making Nate into a villain just didn't work for me. A handful of funny moments but lost most of the warmth I loved about season one.
The Coach Beard episode was dreadful.
