Teams in Europa

I don't wanna panic anyone, but would that not put Monaco into the EL in their place? The same Monaco where Juan Sartori sits on the board. Just remembering that Palace/Forest carry on from last summer....
Sartori doesnt have shares in Monaco though does he. Its just his in-laws.
Another interesting point is that it was Palace that were demoted to Conference Laegue because they finished lower ine their respective league than Lyon did. In this case both Sunderland and Monaco finished 7th.

He doesn't have shares but I'm almost certain the rules apply to board members as well.

Based on these projected seedings, all English clubs will be in pot 3 which would limit who we could play from that pot to 6 teams.
Those lists are based on simulations using this data website and it could be different if someone else runs one.

I think it's pointless looking at the projected teams just yet as so much could happen. I reckon looking at the lists this early is probably like looking at the league table halfway through the season, or trying to predict the FA Cup from Round 2 or 3.

To end up in pot 2, we need 15 teams with a co-efficient less than 23.903 to get through the playoffs. Is it better if Palace and Bournemouth end up in Pot 2 and we're top of Pot 3. It would mean we'd only be up against 2 teams of 6 in Pot 2 but does that mean more chance of getting a 'better' team than if it was 2 in 8?

I probably think it would be better if we all stay in Pot 3. Even though a team may have a higher co-efficient in Pot 2, they may not be as good as Palace & Bournemouth.

Mags I work with say Marseille was a right ballache, had to meet hours before to get transported in together and then got held back in the stadium for ages afterwards. Mind the ground looks incredible, I would definitely go.

Marseille is the drug capital of France. First stop for the drugs that come in from North Africa, along with the criminal cartels. The crime and violence comes along with the drug business.

Would not look forward to going there if we do get them.

I'd definitely be more wary there than say Leverkusen or Alkmaar like, but obviously idiots everywhere and English fans tend to be a target because of our history. Unfortunately we're all soft shites now, nobody moreso than me!

Villa played Bologna x3, Feyenoord, Go Ahead Eagles, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Young Boys, Basel, Fenerbache, RB Salzburg, Lille x2, Forest x2 and Freiburg.
Spurs played Qarabag, Ferencvaros, AZ x3, Galatasaray, Roma, Rangers, Hoffenheim, Elfsborg, Eintracht Frankfurt x2, Bodo/Glimt x2 and Man Utd.
Man Utd played Twente, Porto, Fenerbahce, PAOK, Bodo/Glimt, Viktoria Plzen, Rangers, Steaua Bucharest, Real Sociedad x2, Lyon x2, Athletic Bilbao x2 and Spurs.

That's how the last 3 English sides got on in it.
