Midfield
After the last couple of positive performances on the road, now we head back home looking for back to back home wins.

A number of players will think they may have done enough to start? Cirkin and Simms may well be back in the fold.

What side would you like to see take to the field come next saturday?

I’d like to see..

Patterson
O’Nien Batth Alese
Gooch Evans Pritchard Clarke
Roberts Simms Bennette

Subs

Wright
Cirkin
Bass
Ba
Neil
Embleton
Diallo

Are the subs i'd look to make to end the game and maybe use moving forward (until stewart is fit)

Based upon TMs observations I can see Ba and Diallo starting as well as recalling Simms if he is fully fit. But predicting the starting 11 has never been harder.

Because it’s a squad game and the team, starting 11 and substitutes, is picked on many factors, the main one being which team will win the game.

Embleton must not start

What's clearly apparent there's no way Alese can be dropped baring in mind his current form ...

Really? Honest question here m8, why?
I think if he starts we can’t take him off to revert back to the false 9 formation.
Whereas if we start same as Watford game we can bring him on after 60/70 mins if it’s not working.
I’d prefer to play same formation as reading second half and Watford than 4-2-3-1

Very surprised at the amount of people who would drop roberts, would be very very harsh

Its great we have top options though
they obviously have a mental illness.........drop Roberts ffs :oops::lol::lol:

if Simms is fit then this will be the starting 11 imo.....not sure if this will be the formation or a 343 but certainly the 11 I'd go with....Simms needs a goal

Simms in for Embleton would be my only change from the Watford XI. Alese keeps his place ahead of Cirkin for now.

I like Embleton as an option off the bench, especially at home. He’s good at getting on the ball in deeper positions and starting attacks off. Which we very well may need him to do against a resolute Preston side. Bennette and Diallo to come on to run and switch things up.

Think this will be the 11 to start. Plenty options on the bench to change it. Hopefully Diallo Bennette get 20-30 mins and we're 3-0 up haha
