The clamor for Batth to start after that performance tonight just shows how much some people refuse to drop their nonsense opinion about O'Nein not being good enough.
I think Bellingham will probably be in there ahead of Pritchard.
I was feeling pretty confident until a week or so ago, starting to get a bit worried tbh.
Triantis isn’t pulling up trees, Sellt and Menander out for months, no CF support for Hemir yet either. I’m not sure we have currently improved over all on last season.
People forget how many goals we conceded last season when Baath was in the team. He had a good season, a great season in fact but he was still a mainstay in a defence that conceded 20 more goals than Burnley and 15 more than Sheff Utd and Luton.
This, same team as SaturdayJobe will play instead of Pritchard imo
Agree a loan to Hartlepool and maybe a league 2 club when he turns 17 (don't think you can loan 16 Yr olds)Although Young looks ok and a good prospect I wouldn't want to see him on the bench just yet.
Once the Aussie & Seelt are up to speed Luke will be on the benchWe've signed two centre halves and have our player of the season fit (who we've told will be away in a year, regardless of how he perform) and we are atill likely to go with O'Nien.
Let's hope soOnce the Aussie & Seelt are up to speed Luke will be on the bench
Nobody is out for months of those 2 and we haven't got anyone called Menander.I think Bellingham will probably be in there ahead of Pritchard.

One of them has made a couple of errors/lapses in concentration like most will in training games, the other looks like he’s either not regained fitness yet or (worst case) the injury has impacted his speed longer term. Are we just ignoring how rubbish Luke O'Nien's been in pre season because of one poor Danny Batth performance like?![]()

This is what he’ll go for. Looks fine as an 11, apart from onien giving me the shivers at CB, but the depth is really lacking and we’ve got a lack of cover all over the placePattersonsubs: Bishop; Huggins; Triantis; Gooch; Pritchard; Ba; Bennette; Rigg; *Mystery Striker*
Hume Ballard O'Nien Cirkin
Neil Ekwah
Roberts Bellingham Clarke
Hemir
Can’t the correct answer be that neither are a good enough option as a first choice Cb for a playoff team and we need to improve here? Seems the whole thread is just arguing over who is worse tbhThe clamor for Batth to start after that performance tonight just shows how much some people refuse to drop their nonsense opinion about O'Nein not being good enough.
Cannyvaro is more than good enough imo. As is Batth if fit. Can’t the correct answer be that neither are a good enough option as a first choice Cb for a playoff team and we need to improve here? Seems the whole thread is just arguing over who is worse tbh
Yeah, bit concerned by the goals we are shipping...not sure what will happen with Batth as we are a lot stronger with him in the team.Plenty of time to pull some rabbits out of the hat. Compare this team to the one that started against Coventry last season, and then allow for Stewart, Alese, Evans, Embleton and more being injured right now. Last season, we signed Amad, Bennette, Michut and Ba in the last week of Augusy.
Focused on Sunday, or heads already elsewhere? Pritchard looked up for it, but I do wonder about some of those who might be sensing they’re on the way out.A shitty performance last night has everyone guessing we'll not be good enough.
Let's not lose our shit because a bunch of young'uns, and a handful of first teamers had a half arsed run out and got beat. It didn't look like anyone wanted to be there, let alone play tbh.
Real work starts Sunday.
For me this is the only doubt, which one will play. The rest of it pretty much nailed on.Jobe will play instead of Pritchard imo
Yeah, the only real difference is Hemir for Diallo.I kna he’s young and new but for me that Triantis is way off our first team at the moment .
Any team losing Amad would be to be fair
So you didnt see 10 trenches vid which showed you why 09 gets in the sideAre we just ignoring how rubbish Luke O'Nien's been in pre season because of one poor Danny Batth performance like?![]()
