No, shes had about 20 lessons. Taught in a diesel though which is causing issues.I thought from your OP that you were teaching her from scratch. That would be a nightmare but atleast she has an idea what she is doing.

Love a good handbrake turn in the snow.Perfect weather at the moment to practice handbrake turns.
Get yourself a mirror. They cost about £3.50. Worth every pennyExactly thats what i thought.
Glad her car is there so i can teach her in that respect, otherwise she would have passed in the diesel and them not had a clue how to drive a petrol car.
Spent hours and hours with my lads learning on the huge empty car park behind Macro in Washington. Don't think its there now. They eventually took proper lessons, but saved a bomb as they were quite competent by that stage.
Great tip thanks.Get yourself a mirror. They cost about £3.50. Worth every penny
Its alongside lessons mate, her instructor advised it. Lessons have been on and off due to the lockdowns.Aye, did it with my oldest daughter. My advice is don't do it marra, not worth the hassle and she progressed 10 times faster once she had a few lessons. Fine for extra time behind the wheel, but get an instructor in to nail the basics, dual controls and self control are the two things I was lacking.
Great tip thanks.

Sadly it was in the covid lockdown days, no other option but to do so. Loved it looking back, and something to tell the future grandbairns.I’ve had a go at plastering, electrics, pluming, tiling etc.
Teaching your kids to drive? Not a chance. Leave it to the professionals.
Got my young un an old banger and just sat in with him while he drove about really . He was getting lessons too though . Went down to york and back one day. They really get the hang when they can do long stints uninterrupted.Sadly it was in the covid lockdown days, no other option but to do so. exactly what i was going to say. my daughter just passed, and i took her for a few lessons but you need to teach them how to pass the test, she could drive fine. i'd not teach her something and she'd probably fail as it was almost 40 years since i passed mine. The good thing about professional driving instructors is that they teach you to pass your test.
Then you can start learning to drive properly.
