Tammy Abraham

Chelsea will only loan a player like Abraham if they're guaranteed to start games. They tend to include a clause within the contract agreeing that the player will start a percentage of games unless they're injured e.g. 75%. It's the norm these days.

Unfortunately that seems to be true of some clubs, from Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea probably. it means they play when their performances do not deserve it.
So the question whether he get more opportunities at Newcastle (probable) than Brighton, or another clubs does not come into it?

Brighton would be a better move for him. Better location and he avoids a set of nuggett fans who will be expecting champions league qualification.

Depends who signs him. He'll either be a superb signing or a championship plodder. Stay tuned.

Class signing for newly promoted Brighton, great move for the lad.

Desperate signing for the newly promoted mags, nailed on for relegation with a kid up front on his own with no premier league experience.

future England player, has something different about him. Looking forward to the u21s later this summer, reckon he will be a stand out player. Regardless of whether he joins Newcastle or Brighton, for me it sums up how shite the 'top 4' clubs are in giving academy players a chance.

Especially with Atsu supplying him

Atsu is a genius. Could Abraham score w/o looking (with a bicycle kick)?

The Newcastle midfielder had been the game’s most peripheral figure until, eight minutes from the end, the Senegal international was faced with a decision when, with his team losing 1-0, a wildly inaccurate Christian Atsu shot came off substitute Daryl Murphy. With his back to the Brighton goal, Diame weighed up his options and decided to stick with the approach he had deployed all night: that being to do very little.

The ball struck his heel, looped up over goalkeeper David Stockdale and defender Fiyako Tomori and dropped into the Brighton goal for the equaliser. Upon such moments are these epic 46-game Premier League promotion-seeking marathons decided.

They will give youngster a chance on loan. But they want weekly reports and the player to actually play. Conditions are a bit restrictive for the club that loans the player.

Newcastle and Brighton are both big enough to say NO !? Both small enough to say YES ????
