Hahaha!
My little girl was 3 last year for her first game, she was really good until the last half hour. He will love it. The boy is 6 and went to his first league game a couple of weeks ago, was a bit shocked by some of the language but loved the noise & atmosphere.
Have taken grandkids over the years, at three , he will no doubt be bored stiff ,, tale an ipad so you can let him watch his programmes.@GK can't make it so is kindly letting me have his ticket for my boy, he's 3 next week so is a bit young but he went to a cup game last year and loved it.
Bit apprehensive about him going to a game where it's fuller and noisier, and without his mam cos he's a reet mammys boy, but he seems to be excited about it.
Do I bother taking toys n shit or do I hope he will hold his attention for the whole game?
No way a three year old sit without distractions. My bairn is eight and still needs Nintendo to get through a game. She is a lass admittedly.
Watching it at home on South Shore Southampton Bermuda! No kids- pity really the only relative is my niece and she supports the mags!!!!!!!!

Headed round the Derby now, me son (5) will get a big ice cream, play on me phone get restless, enjoy the bus journey, hopefully the match, then the Avenue for a hot dog !Well he's got ney choice cos that's where I'm taking him! Cannit beat malcolm macdonand's cheeseburgers for one sixty.
It didn't help that when we scored some bloke grabbed his head and screamed 'get iiiiiiiin' straight in his face
My lad went when he was 4. Loved it but took his ds as a backup@GK can't make it so is kindly letting me have his ticket for my boy, he's 3 next week so is a bit young but he went to a cup game last year and loved it.

Take some ear plugs for him....
Don't let it put either of you off, at 3 he won't understand, at 13 he will bloody love you for itThat would have been a good idea, he wasn't happy where we normally sit, too loud and aggressive, moved him to the padded seats and he's been asleep the last half hour.
Never mind, he'll be able to say he's been going since he was 2 when he's older.
Well it didn't exactly go smoothly, he was shit scared the minute we got inside, too many people, too much noise, upper 19 suddenly seemed a bit intimidating. He wasn't happy there so we moved to the padded seats where it was half empty, he went to kip for the last 20 of the first half and didn't wake up until half way thru the second half!
He woke up and just said I want to get out of here, I made it to about 80 minutes and headed for the avenue. Soon as we got outside he was really chuffed about it all, little weirdo, kept in talking about it all the way to the boozer.
Got him his first sunderland scarf from the trailer shop, he is well chuffed with that and won't put it down. Loved taking him but a bit guilty he was scared by it, character building I suppose but it'll be a while before I take him again when there's a bigger crowd.
