Takeover Rumours

Hearing rumours coming from a current sponsor of the club that Thursday is the day it will be announced. At least one director on his/her way out to make way for new replacements.

Absolutely not!
f***ing gerrin! I'm off Thursday 😎

Because one person said it and now everyone else wants to sound ITK?????

I've been told, from two different sources, that the prep for a PR event on Friday, has been started.

That's not to say something won't be announced before that. If, as I'm being told, everything is done then its just a bit of 'snagging' to do.

Whatever the case the exact moment is irrelevant and we're entering a brave new world where we should all believe and pull together as we used to do back in the day. Yes we were naive in those pre-social media days but it felt like we all always wanted the best for our club.

Haway Sunderland, let's go for it.

No marra. D means the Day. H means the hour
well before world war two

You are right, I was writing it with Zero Day in mind and used the wrong initial. Up until 1942 the British historically used the term Z (zero) for the whilst the U.S. used D. The U.S. Term 'D-Day' was formally adopted by the British government for the first time on 24th August 1942 in preparation for the invasion of French North Africa (TORCH). The British Joint Planning Staff Due to the pressures of time, feared danger of miscommunication and agreed for D-Day to be used by the British Forces on this occasion, referring the matter to the Joint Chiefs of Staff for future operations. The term stuck, and we've used it ever since.

I gave some massive clues, on another thread, but I'm on thin ice here mate.

The name may never be revealed and the relationship ended at any time.

I'm guessing on this bit Teed but I'd say that as soon as the managerial situation is decided our mystery adviser will be gone.

There's no suggestion of a DOF and certainly not one who chooses his own puppets.

Someone with
A
Fabulous managerial career, I would guess.
