I agree they have been a stain on our club and i will begrudgingly hope they make a few quid provided it means we are successful ........However we must not let them change the narrative their tenure has been a disaster for our club and we must never forget this...........SAFC fans have long memories and we should keep our best jimmy hill welcome for don and charlie if they show their face around our club again especially if they dont pay back the parachute moneys as promised.

Also interesting that The Guardian subtitled the article as an exclusive.
Do you think a member of FPP might jump on board if they feel like the club is moving places? It’s their investment. I believe the 10 million loan was put down as they saw us as having potential a so called “sleeping giant” imagine Juan, frenchie and member of FPP all focused to get us back to the big time?
young talent brought through the first team. Big Sam as a director of football. Young positive manager. I am dreaming again and feels great!
that would be fun likeAfter the carnage they’ve wreaked I want to see them selling the big issue outside SUNLUN station.
Think that is the best way mate.Perhaps they were given the story from someone directly involved?
That’s usually how journalism works these days.
As someone said on another thread, I feel cautiously optimistic.
Especially when the cake is made of shite and vomit. You’ve only got to listen to the early Donald podcasts to realise how much it takes attention away. So much time talking about inconsequential shite like whether we’ll have local microbreweries selling out of the concessions. Ultimately the football is 95% of the total experience. The amount of time and energy that is wasted on the icing on the cake is barmy to me. I’ll gladly put up with the SoL being tatty and shite beer and queues at half time if I can watch an excellent football team smash it’s way to the top half of the PL.
Bear in mind that only £1700 of these players' weekly pay counts towards the cap. Any new players coming in will have to have all their pay fit into the cap. It really doesn't matter if we suddenly have the cash to pay up contracts and pay big fees if we can only offer any incoming a player £2k/wk or so.
But you must use the correct spelling: Mutha....I do favour the term Mother just ahead of mam![]()
It's more like realism. Sartori for the most part has been invisible and mostly trying to be a politician. We have been told countless times Sartori would be more prominent yet that never changed.
We had agreed a sale previously that fell through because of Donald with FFP, also jack Ross being introduced to a new owner that never happened also (believed to be Campbell). Being wary is sensible after they way these clowns have handled things over the last few year, especially until we here who else is involved in this consortium. Correct leadership is more important at this time with a clear direction. Until that is known being cautious is important. Only 3 years ago people were cock-a-hoop over Donald taking over and look how well that went
Between three of them and allegedly about 2 billion or so each. It's a shared pot is it not? It's not all his I think
It's neither, it's "sa mère" or "maman".
Two and a half years later though, despite Donald insistence over the past year and a half he was going to be more involved. Ultimately he still is tainted by association until he can prove he has more about himI think Sartori has just become more prominent. You might have missed that
He's a Mag. Ignore him
I don’t think it needs an absolute fortune to turn the club around . We have a fantastic academy that should be exploited not see
As a burden and cost . A top scouting system needs to be in place , even if it only covers north of England and Scotland
I'm sorry I didn't realise you wanted me to make a statement. A lot of my posts have been tongue in cheek but I admit 100% I absolutely thought it was the club playing the fans. It always seemed to get mentioned more when unrest began to bubble again. You'll have to forgive me if I dont trust the current incumbents, they do have form for telling porkies. No question I was wrong about that. I've always said that I trust Prehab wouldnt make stuff up and that kept me hopeful, likewise deodrant2 who clearly knows what he's talking about. The only thing I've ever been adamant about is that its not FPP, which it isnt. That would be ok if it hadn’t come after week upon week of scorn that anything was happening at all. When you’ve called it wrong, at least have the guts to admit it instead of smokescreening yet more negativity.
