Who says it's £20m? That would be the price for 60% of Sunderland bought from Madrox. The transaction involves Madrox shares. At July 2019, Donald's personal cost (ie money owed to him by Madrox) was £11m. That's his real breakeven point. It look like he's selling around 80% of his stake in Madrox (59% of the 74% he currently owns). The breakeven point for that is around £8m, and is likely to be closer to the amount of money changing hands now.
Let’s see who’s right in the end, maybe this time you will admit to me you are not correct, unlike the £20-5m, that you still haven’t 👍

But it also works the other way if the new owners turn out to be long term saviours.
If not for Donald, we would not have Juan and then Kyril.

Could have had long term saviours 2 years ago if it wasn't for them getting in the way as well.
Having looked at his social media pages, two observations: he looks like Nicholas Hoult and Andre Ayew and Michy Batshuayi are going to be our new strike force.

That would make @david the most ITK poster of all time on here.

Keep wallowing in your pessimism mate. It’s what you do best.
It's more like realism. Sartori for the most part has been invisible and mostly trying to be a politician. We have been told countless times Sartori would be more prominent yet that never changed.
We had agreed a sale previously that fell through because of Donald with FFP, also jack Ross being introduced to a new owner that never happened also (believed to be Campbell). Being wary is sensible after they way these clowns have handled things over the last few year, especially until we here who else is involved in this consortium. Correct leadership is more important at this time with a clear direction. Until that is known being cautious is important. Only 3 years ago people were cock-a-hoop over Donald taking over and look how well that went

Do you think a member of FPP might jump on board if they feel like the club is moving places? It’s their investment. I believe the 10 million loan was put down as they saw us as having potential a so called “sleeping giant” imagine Juan, frenchie and member of FPP all focused to get us back to the big time?

young talent brought through the first team. Big Sam as a director of football. Young positive manager. I am dreaming again and feels great!

SD never had any money and had few good football connections. This guy has access to many billions and him and his family are knowledgeable around football with high profile connections around the world. Somehow I think things will be much better this time

I don't think that will happen. I don't want FFP anymore if we have another rich bloke.

I can't stand that saying, nothing personal it's just every clubs fans say it. Historically we are very rarely a club that isn't fighting for promotion if outside the top flight and quite often managing it as well.
The longest we've ever spent outside the top flight is six seasons (after our first ever relegation back in the 50's) and we are looking very likely to at the very least equal that. Stay down this season and we'll almost definitely beat it.
I stand by what I say though, continue getting 2 points a game and we will definitely go up. It's whether we can continue getting those points is the question. Hopefully our bigger squad depth compared to most clubs will see us through. We've got 4 centre halves missing today (we play 3) and yet we should still have a defence good enough to do ok

let's see how it pans out, honestly hope you're right,as for the smoothy stuff, the last four years have knocked my end right in

:-) You can never have too many billionaires in the boadroom for me.

What we don’t know just now is the state of Donald’s other business interests. These are strange times mate, there is a chance we can rid ourselves of him sooner rather than later.

if this goes through as is looking likely, i'll not be to bothered about Donald and his sidekick as long as they've got no say and they're shoved into the cupboard under the stairs where they fukn belong

In the long run , the signings off the pitch are far more important than those on it .
aye , we've gone from clueless billionaire to clueless asset stripper maybe now to clued up billionaire ?

going on the last 13 years ; it's definitely better with a billionaire

After the carnage they’ve wreaked I want to see them selling the big issue outside SUNLUN station.
