We were gaining on Rotherham. Had a few dodgy games but that happens. Just beaten Wycombe 4 - 0 iirc

There was a problem as teams were wising up to our tactics and pushing up on the back 3. Portsmouth just did that, so need a plan B, but we had enough to beat most teams.

There's good comparison's to be seen here. "Sooty" (aka Short) says fek all, while Sweep (aka Maggie Burn and co) are incapable, make a complete shambles of everything and make the club a complete laughing stock, a farce......hilarious to all but us supporters. Viva the Muppets

A 3rd season minimum in the 3rd Division and the 3 lowest finishes in our 140 year history would suggest otherwise. AND Im sure they'll end up making a profit through failure. Someone will turn this club around despite them. Difficult to see how time can turn that sequence into a positive story.

Agreed. We've been flatlining at a point as low as we can realistically go. Can't think of a club as big as ours which as fallen lower. They looked for a quick buck, they may well end up getting one. But they aren't heroes.

We hadn’t just beaten Wycombe at all mind. We’d went downhill after that. Rotherham looked shite anarl and would have been fighting with us for 6th imo.
