Same here mate. Looked at this thread soon after the story broke and there was 'I told you so straight away'. Some, chomping at the bit to rub people up and win the internet. Gaz, Prehab, I don't mean you lads.

At this moment in time, there has been no change. When change appears, we can form an opinion by actions from that change.

It seems positive. That is good. Seems is a long way from is.

It's stated in the test of the Guardian article, and SSN are also presenting it that way.

Why the hell would the new lad agree to that? Stay here I will make all the decisions put the money in and then if we get up I will give you some more. I suppose mitigates his risk if it all goes wrong but not by much.

I’m just really happy there’s someone coming in who has the clout to make things happen. SD and CM won’t have the power anymore. They were just chancers who wanted to make a fast buck.

because it’s the only terms under which SD would sell the shares at the price the lad wanted to pay?

this has been doing the rounds for months as the reason it’s taken so long and the reason the last takeover fell through. SD wouldn’t budge on price without retaining some shares to sell later and apparently the price for those is already signed off on should we get promoted.

Maybe, just seems a crap deal for him, unless he has got them very cheap now.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if they are still involved.
 
I’m not getting over excited just yet. I’ll wait and see who is going to run the club first. Sartori, methven and donald quickly lost interest in us so I would have rather the 3 of them had nothing more to do with the club. As for the new owner, yes he’s got money but will he spend it and has he got a clue about L1 . I’ll be honest my gut instinct is that we will buy a couple of reasonably priced league 1 players in jan with parky staying and donald and methven pulling all the strings in background and the fans strung along with false promises about splashing the cash if we get promoted. I hope i’m wrong.
