Too punch drunk to be excited anymore, I will be optimistic when a fat lady is in the centre circle of the SOL singing her heart out.

go back to the home mate--- age is no barrier for us!Just had a phone call to say some 22 year old french kid has bought the club, not see any mention of this possibility from the so called ITK's on here. Sounds like another unmitigated disaster incoming, we will be non league or out of existence before long.
I would imagine its the first thing they would do like
Having this investment and impending takeover is without doubt excellent news for both the Club and us long suffering fans.
This is stage one but stage two is just as important. We have had lots of money over the last fifteen years but after paying Crappy, Rodwell and Alvarez et all most of it, we may as well have chucked our riches into the River Wear.
Clubs with far less money such as Bournemouth, Brentford and Luton have left us for dead and it is clear that this takeover must come with sound leadership, a clear direction and a vastly improved scouting operation.
We have been run like a circus for far too long and with this new ownership, coupled with sensible leadership, hopefully we can finally leave this footballing backwater we've found ourself in.
The first thing they'll be doing is actually making sure they've bought the club.
Whispers ayeaye?
Excellent post. Here’s hoping... Ha’way the lads.Having this investment and impending takeover is without doubt excellent news for both the Club and us long suffering fans.

Be some slap, his Dad passed away a few years agoI know there's the chance we'll get under his skin as had happened before but if Daddy slaps him hard and focuses his attentions elsewhere we could easily be the toy that gets put in the back of the shed and forgotten about until it rusts and get's hoyed out with the knackered lawnmower and grass cuttings.
Stop playing shit football
All speculation.I am happy to say i said nothing was happening and in the face of it, i admit it does look like i was wrong. However, lets stand back and look at whats really happening here.
My scepticism was based on my disbelief that SD would walk away without his payday, particularly considering the position we are in in the league. If reports are to be believed hes not walking away and stands to make a decent wedge if someone takes us where we want to be. The 3 stooges collectively owned and had a controlling stake before. They still do. Sartori has shown little to no interest in the club since he started. Why is he suddenly interested now? In the middle of a pandemic? Its not like hes suddenly picking up a bargain as he was practically gifted his initial 20% anyway. Theres every chance SD could just be cashing some shares in as hes feeling the pinch. Sartoris pal said, "aye go on then ill take them". This is not a takeover for me, its a shuffling of the deckchairs to keep people happy. At the end of the day, the same 3 clowns are calling the shots.
Anybody give me the gist of today’s news?
Gonna be ugly getting out of this league.in a nutshell. Nowt else to it tbh. We only go on about the kids because of his turgid style and focus on planks. I don’t think he has the ability in his locker to do anything but tbh.
Probably a close encounterSo Richard Dreyfus son putting a stake in not a stakeout![]()
I don't think you should be gutted. There will be new people at the helm and hopefully they will bring a better vision for the future that the corner shop mentaility of Donald. Donald did not come here hoping to fail but it was too big a job for him. Lets hope the new lot are a cut above him.
It is, but ugly with a better manager and more exciting players would be niceGonna be ugly getting out of this league.
