Like I said on Sunday, anyone hoping for a quick resolution to this is not listening to what Rodwell said. He was as clear as you can get about the fundamental problem stopping this deal getting done. That hasn't changed and it's not likely to until the government gives a clear pathway to fans being in stadiums. I'd say that given the current situation with cases, that's unlikely before Christmas.
Not saying they don't have an internal target of the 10th to get things done, but I doubt that is realistic.
So no deal thus season then. Government cannot give a definitive path for covid future re sports stadiums. No country can. And until vaccine is our and everyone has it stadia can never be considered fully safe. Imo
What about these so called deals at different prices depending on covid progress. This was I thought meant to stop a deal not going through.
