Sorry mate. I’ve absolutely no idea. No one outside of negotiations seems to know, which is impressive! What’s your thoughts on the potential of the new owners? Are they of the same financial clout as Fuhrman?

Cheers fella, I guess we wait and see and as you say fingers crossed!Sorry mate. I’ve absolutely no idea. No one outside of negotiations seems to know, which is impressive!
If you don’t think that Donald is capable of getting us out of the league (and I have severe doubts myself) it’s a reasonable position to take tbh. The consequences of Donald still being here next summer and us still being in league one are absolutely catastrophic. Just about the only player still in contract after next July is Will Grigg. We’re absolutely on a knife edge to oblivion and Donald is the worst owner in our history. Entirely understandable that drastic measures begin to look like the only option.Yeah because that makes perfect sense!! Take administration and get docked points making it even harder to get out of this league.
Lightening doesn’t strike twice.Imagine if we ended up being an elaborate Christmas gift for a millionaire's son that was going through a football phase.
I’d say we’d be virtually certain to get someone who has a better idea what to do than Donald. The level of incompetence in his two years of control are staggering. He’s done absolutely nothing right on the football side. To get every football decision wrong takes a special level of stupidity.Thing is though, there's no guarantee that a new owner would be any more successful, particularly in the short term.
If, we somehow manage to get someone who knows what they are doing, (Probably more unlikely than likely) They could build some decent foundations, turn the academy around even employ some better people. However there's little room for manouvre in the transfer market, they can't come in and hoy £5m at it and buy promotion.
Waiting for a takeover feels like waiting for the covid vaccination. We seem to be expecting everything to be ok when they come along, but it won't happen overnight will take a bit longer. Hopefully the current team are good enough to go up, a new owner and promotion would be a good bit of momentum.
Aye.Isn't West Hams ladys team ran by a son of one of the owners.![]()
Aye Donald has certainly set a low bar. But the next owner will still probably be rich business man who's never ran a football club, all depends who he takes advice from really.I’d say we’d be virtually certain to get someone who has a better idea what to do than Donald. You want Sunderland to go into admin and then struggle in the league - brilliant...It would be quicker and less painful just to go into administration , make up the 12 point deduction than waiting for Donald to stop acting like petulant self entitled brat and sell the club. I think if somebody offered me that at this moment in time I’d take it just to get rid of him. Let’s face it we will most likely take up residency in league 1 for the foreseeable future under his stewardship.
That's probably how they'll dress it up.Imagine when it’s announced that Sartorial and Donald have just swapped their shares about![]()

And Donald still the main ShareholderImagine when it’s announced that Sartorial and Donald have just swapped their shares about![]()

I'll take any distance put between Donald and any decision of consequence as a good thing tbh. He's just a disaster area.Imagine when it’s announced that Sartorial and Donald have just swapped their shares about![]()

Don't get me wrong I want him gone. However, if he is no longer chairman, and no longer has the whip hand on decision making as a minor shareholder, I'll grudgingly accept that. It is scarecely believable how bad his decision-making as owner and chairman has been. SAFC fans get bent out of shape about the parachute payments and his bad communication. The real damage has been done by the countless awful decisions he has taken, the way he has tried to shape the club. That is what has set us back a decade.I wouldnt trust any set up with Donald involved one bit.
Danish clubs, Wrexham, they’re all more appealing than buying SAFC. I wonder why?Looks like we were going to be. Remember Plateks son was at the SoL? Sadly theyve bought a Danish club instead
tin hat on.....larger number of passionate fans to keep happy, crave success, too demanding...not that we are.Danish clubs, Wrexham, they’re all more appealing than buying SAFC. I wonder why?
