My concern is the what’s app is addressed to Terry. Terry’s Chippy, Terry Venables and John Terry are swimming in my imagination as a combination that makes me a bit queasy.

What checks are done by the EFL? I would have thought the checks could be done on new owners whilst the new owners are doing their own due diligence?

That’s not true, I've certainly seen mention of the O’Briens during the rumours. I’m pretty sure Reiver mentioned them.

Presumably they wouldn't want to do it until its confirmed that they've done due diligence and want to buy the club. I'm guessing that sometimes it can be quite a time intensive task, and the EFL probably aren't well staffed, so they won't want to risk doing loads of background digging on potential owners only to find they do due diligence and can't agree a fee. Mind as others have mentioned, if it is just Methven and Sartori I don't see why they'd need to do anything, they're already approved. Would assume they'd only get involved if new people were coming in.

Of course it was because when it gets to that stage the seller and the buyer want to put pressure on the EFL to OK the deal. By making it public and building up the fans' expectations the EFL are made to look like the baddies if they refuse or take too long to agree to everything.

Magnus never and he is the one people over at 606 are taking most of their info from. Truth is that most of them keep changing what they say. They are like psychic acts, people only remember their hits and ignore their multitude of misses. Say enough shite you are bound to get something right eventually.

This is correct its about the club and not who gets to know first.
Thats why Bob has stepped down, he does know what is going on but is not posting it or adding any speculation as requested.
The club needs this to happen.
