Takeover News/Rumours

I'd expect a DoF before a change of manager. Irrespective of style, Parkinson is doing well as far as the table is concerned. Sacking a manager in that situation would look odd to people outside the NE bubble, a bit like when Graham Alexander got the bullet at Salford. An immediate change of manager would only make sense if they have someone lined up already.

It's also possible they'll look for a CEO with more experience in building a club through the divisions, rather than just L1/L2 experience.

Exactly, parky will take us up then go

Don’t know if it’s me being cynical.

I’m wondering why the Monaco lot didn’t want to get involved.

Are they still owners of Monaco? Maybe no need as they’re already involved there.

the lad we know about only has a minority share in OM via his family so this is a new venture?

As long as those two incompetent twats don’t have a say any more there’s at least some hope of things improving. Who comes in as chairman is hugely important. If Sartori listens to Donald and Methven though we’ll be no better off.

Didn’t think about that tbh. And I know they got Monaco on the cheap too.

yeah, he will be involved now but I’d argue he wasn’t before.

we are moving from CM and SD running the show to JS and the new investors running it with the other two hanging on for a pay day.
We don't know to what extent he was involved before, seems he is taking the lead now so we will see. Seems a pretty big assumption that he is going to take over running it now and not be influenced at all by the person/people who got him involved in the first place.

His mother inherited the whole of OM in 2009, but sold most of it in 2016. The birth that year of twin girls (at the age of 53 () might have had something to do with that.
more consortium members to be involved?

Another two rumoured.

Unless there was a fundamental disagreement over the direction being taken.

Why in earth would he be influenced by them, him and whoever in in the consortium will own majority shares
