I’m guessing we may be in a Watford style thing like the pozzo family. Done right it’s not a bad thing, just hope it’s not as mental as them sacking managers every half an hour.

their recruitment of players at Watford is quite good though.

I know Bologna had Donadoni as manager for about five years. Suggests he may not be too trigger happy. I stopped following Serie A though so don’t know what’s happened since then.

if it is him I do wonder if he’s spoke to Thierry Henry in some way about us. He’s spoke positively about us in the past and stuff. Mind I’m just totally pulling stuff from thin air now but makes you think when names get mentioned
 
If we do get taken over by some wealthy people other clubs and player agents will have our eyes out for a while after. Still, new ownership would be welcome.
 
I'm hoping it's still fpp. because if it isn't, they might go back in for Newcastle and propel them into stratosphere, just to prove a point and to piss us off ! 😬

That was definitely PLAN A when he first arrived. A one season promotion, sell and double their money. (And it almost worked!)

This is now his third season in charge, playing squad reduced to L1 mediocrity with manager to match, parachute payments gone, Academy gutted to the core, fans antagonised and now Covid and no fans in stadium.

He should be happy to escape with his shirt on his back and take the money hit that is a direct consequence of his ineptitude. You cannot sell for more if you have reduced the value of what you are selling!
