Is that the same Brian Marwood who sold us Adam Johnson and Rodwell, great bloke yehover the road saying Marwood (looks like) coming in. now i'd love that to happen. as we need knowledgeable football people in to the run the club. people are saying why would he leave City to come here ? unbeknown to anyone his job at city could be under threat. yes he's done a great job, but he's been there a long time, and the owners might be thinking its gone a bit stale, let's face it they are miles behind city atm,.so maybe thinking its time to freshen it up there
he also maybe looking to get out before he is pushed, and if a brilliant project at his hometown club comes up.... he may think, why not ! (I'm sure they will pay him a VERY decent salary for leaving his current role) this might be the only chance he'll ever get in his lifetime, and may think, I need to grab this now.
this isn't me itk or owt, just trying to think laterally as to why he would come here. it maybe all a load of old bollocks, because lets face it, we've had our hopes dashed many many times before being a safc fan, not just over the most recent 'going's on'
anyway, let's just hope that this is the beginning of the end for this current regime, and we have a new one incoming with fresh/big ideas for the club ! we all absolutely LOVE our club, its in our blood and our veins ! and we deserve a decent go at it, we've suffered more than enough !
so let's hope it all goes through smoothly, and a new period of magic carpet(ness) is here ! and a modicum of success is somewhere on he horizon(although I'd absolutely LOVE world domination tbh though new gaffers
)
anyway keep the faith, and![]()
Also, he's 60 now. Maybe he thinks it's time to return home. Plus,City will be looking to the future and Marwood won't be in it.people are saying why would he leave City to come here

Maybe it's Paul Ince rather than Marwood? Seem to recall being told that was pretty much sorted.Unreal that people are still following the word of Magnus especially. The most clearly fabricated rumour of the lot imo and now changed his tack like the wind.
Also marwood must have had the biggest change of heart in history to be involved. Utterly zero interest in us previously.

I mean id absolutely love marwood to come here but i cannot see that happening at all mind. He has one of the best (and probably best paid) jobs in football working for some of the richest in the world.over the road saying Marwood (looks like) coming in. now i'd love that to happen. as we need knowledgeable football people in to the run the club. people are saying why would he leave City to come here ? unbeknown to anyone his job at city could be under threat. yes he's done a great job, but he's been there a long time, and the owners might be thinking its gone a bit stale, let's face it they are miles behind city atm,.so maybe thinking its time to freshen it up there

Unless you know BM personally or are, in fact, he. How would you know thatUtterly zero interest in us previously.
Well er....therefore it was a great piece of business for City.Is that the same Brian Marwood who sold us Adam Johnson and Rodwell, great bloke yeh![]()

Second, maybe third hand info from last year. Was approached by a local group during another takeover attempt but had zero interest in even speaking to them.Unless you know BM personally or are, in fact, he. How would you know that
Is this a serious question?Who is Mad Bob and why is he a complete nutter?
Why would that bother you?Not sure what's causing the most unrest here, the possibility of it just being a redistribution of shares, or the possibility of Bob being right.
Supposed to be a big mate of ES and a Sunderland fan, sold us a kiddy fiddler and the laziest man in football, Yeh Thanks BrianWell er....therefore it was a great piece of business for City.
As stated above mate. He's 60. Man City will have a five year plan like most companies. It's not that far fetched that he could be recieving some form of handshake in the very near future. Whether he come here or goes elsewhere is another matter. Or he could retire altogether.He has one of the best (and probably best paid) jobs in football working for some of the richest in the world.
