They ain’t selling! Nobody will pay the asking price in this climate. A business with no income, and huge expenses is not going to be attractive, unless it’s available at a much reduced price! They will wait and see if a bail out happens. Even if it doesn’t, and they spend all the money, they will keep it. If we don’t get promoted the running costs next year, with the budget cap will be massively reduced, and they will have another go!

Surely NB has got to be asking questions, and if he is then he must update the fans.

The same old "its ongoing" shite can't be accepted. TBH when I heard that the club had agreed to a meeting with the RAWA in November I did think why would they if they were getting ready to sell up.

Am sure its a league requirement

Best I can come up with is this https://www.infrontanalytics.com/fe-EN/30056LR/Union-Agriculture-Group-Corp-/market-valuation . UAG has annual revenues of around $100m, so those P/E ratios give a valuation of $1-1.5bn. I'm not sure what percentage he owns, and of course, this excludes any other assets he may own. I wouldn't be too hung up on Forbes - from what I recall none of Fuhrman, Platek or Phelan are listed either. I'm pretty sure that, like the Sunday Times Rich List, you can request not to be listed.
Sold his dope farms for 170 million as well, so he is definitely loaded. Sunderland co-owner Juan Sartori nets millions from cannabis selling business

Totally missed my point i agree Ashley is a good owner however the constant smoke and mirrors Ashley and his cronys potray is the likeness.

The Newcastle fans I know recognise that the business is well ran etc but that's not their complaint

It's that Spurs and other clubs have massively kicked on with respect to developing their commercial stuff and Newcastle under Ashley completely stagnated, with a plastering of sports direct everywhere being the limit of their imagination.

I must admit I've always thought well it's not that bad, generally in premier league, no money worries etc but they do have a point on the stagnation.

True. That would change the term of engagement just a bit. But, for the moment, we all know how petulant Donald can be. Rodwell, on the face of it, seems a little more amenable.
Yeah. At the end of the day they can refuse who they want. EFL would take a dim view but it remains to be seen how hard they will come down on a club.

Thats been the rumour since all this started. I know people don’t believe Nixon, but he’s said all along no sale and to look at redistribution with current lot and hinted at Sartori with maybe family / investors. He’s also said all along he wasn’t convinced SD going anywhere.

i’m still expecting that to be the outcome and always have. Nobody is paying his price, even more so in current climate
Exactly this said months ago that it was a reshuffle of shares and that is all , turns out he was right

As a matter of interest, would the requirement to meet a Trust fall outside the current liaison structure? In other words, would they be required to meet RAWA alone in a separate meeting?
